Windsor Garden

I’ve recently fallen in love with Empress 1908 Gin. If you’re not following Empress 1908 on Instagram, you should be because their cocktail inspiration is amazing. Several months ago, one of my girlfriends told me about this fun gin that turns different shades of purple and pink, depending on what you mix with it. I decided I needed to see this for myself so I picked up a bottle of Empress gin and pulled up their website. They have an impressive collection of cocktail recipes and I’ve made several of them. Empress gin is made up of 8 natural botanicals including Butterfly Pea Blossom, which gives the gin its unique indigo hue. The gin has a really nice citrus flavor that works wonderfully in cocktails. I really enjoy the Windsor Garden because it combines two of my hobbies- gardening & cocktailing! With fresh muddled herbs, lemon juice, and gin, it’s a cocktail designed to drink while taking a garden stroll or simply sitting amongst the flowers. I sometimes top mine with soda water to make the drink last a little longer. Sure, this dilutes it a little but you all know I’m having a second! Enjoy!
